An enjoyable two hour group project inspired by Andreas Gursky’s photograph, ‘Paris, Montparnasse’. After discussing relevant artwork by artists who have recorded interior spaces, students worked from old copies of Wallpaper* magazine, and their own imagination, to produce their own contribution to the class block of flats.

This lesson idea could be developed in a number of ways. The learning resource, Grids, might also be helpful.
